We would like to invite you to stop by our show for a few hours.
There's plenty to see:
-
You can watch the cats being judged. Judging
goes on continuously all day. There are several judges per day. Many
of the judges talk to the crowd while they're judging -- they may
tell you about the breed of cat they're currently judging, comment
on the strong points of a particular cat, or even explain why they
scored one cat higher than another.
You can watch the judges present awards
to the top 5 or 10 cats in each class. The judge presents each
winning cat to the audience and awards it a beautiful rosette.
You can wander among the exhibitors' area and view the cats when
they aren't being judged. Often, the cats' owners are nearby and are
happy to chat with you about their cats.
You can browse our vendor area. Our many
vendors carry a broad range of wares: cat toys, scratching posts,
beds, grooming supplies, cat food, jewelry and artwork are just a
few of the items you'll find.
You can visit the cat rescue organization
and see the cats they have brought for adoption. (We donate vendor
spaces to local feline rescue organizations. Each year, many
beautiful but homeless cats and kittens find permanent homes at our
show.)

variety of different breeds being judged, including household pets.
(Note: We do break for lunch for about an hour each day.)
Also, throughout the day, you can see all the cats who aren't
currently being judged as they relax with their owners, waiting for
their next judging.

Is there a judging schedule?
There is no specific time schedule for the breed judging;
competitions for all classes go on throughout the day, all weekend long.
So, no matter what time you come, you should be able to see a broad
variety of different breeds being judged. We have several judging rings
which operate independently & simultaneously; each ring gets the various
classes in a different order (to avoid conflicts between rings). Each
cat will be judged by all the judges during the course of the day.
Also, throughout the day, you can see all the cats who aren't currently
being judged as they relax with their owners, waiting for their next
judging.
